Return & Refund Policy

At Teratech, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Change of Mind Returns

We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

Please choose carefully before purchasing.

However, we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion if:

  • The item is unused and in original condition
  • The item is in its original packaging
  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Return postage for change of mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.

 

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the fault
  • Clear photos or video of the issue

We will assess the issue and provide a suitable remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law.

 

Major vs Minor Faults

Major Faults include:

  • The product is unsafe
  • The product is significantly different from its description
  • The product does not do what it was advertised to do
  • The product has a serious defect

For major faults, you may choose:

  • A full refund, or
  • A replacement product

Minor Faults:

For minor issues, we may offer:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund (at our discretion)

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Products damaged due to misuse or incorrect installation
  • Products that have been altered or tampered with
  • Clearance or sale items (unless faulty)
  • Digital downloads or software once accessed (unless faulty)

 

Return Process

To request a return, please contact us at:

Include:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos or video if the item is faulty

We will provide return instructions once your request is approved.

Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.


Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.


 

 

Warranty

 

Some products may include a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims will be assessed according to the manufacturer’s terms in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
